I took this photo a few days ago, during my holidays in Minorca, a tiny island where I was born. It’s been almost five years since I left my home now. I stumbled upon this empty shell while I was scuba diving and I asked my girlfriend to hold it so I could take a photo of it. My intention was to capture a bit of the essence of my island: humanity and nature together in the middle of the sea. Poetic but simple at the same time.

It doesn’t seem like it at first glance, but this picture was taken in the northern part of Norway, on Lofoten islands, which are located above the arctic circle. And it was early February when I visited, so the sea being very cold too. Buy awesome, limited edtition, photo prints: handpictphoto.com

This is my first time attending to Holi Festival and It was a Blast ! I saw this little girl was playing colors with her family. I saw this moment where she was smiling and the background was busy and super loud with those EDM music. I knee down and captured this moment. Everyone were stepping my leg and i was like yo i must get the shot. It was worth it. Thank you to this little girl :) . I love this shot so much.

I was diving in Roatan, completely enthralled with the vibrant coral reef that seemed to go on forever, plunging to unknown depths below. Seeing movement out of my peripheral vision, I was somewhat startled to see a large sea turtle brush past my shoulder. Swimming slowly with graceful wings, the sea turtle was certainly not surprised or startled by me. I was just another fish in his sea. I love this photo because it reminds me of feeling at right at home, 70 feet below the surface.

Just as I was finishing my dive, disappointed with the photographs I made, I ran into these guys. School trevallies. Wave surge was hitting me hard but I manage to take few photos before I ran out of air. I was happy with the photos but I was more happy to see them.

You might get caught up in the beautiful blue waters of the Caribbean or lost in the diversity of the Honduran corals, but don’t miss the clever trumpetfish masquerading as just another piece of the reef. When I look at this photo, I see it come to life as I recall watching this fish swaying upside down in the current, mimicking the graceful dance of the coral fingers.
