I was randomly shooting the sunset when a family decided to walk back from the sea to the beach, I was just perfectly aligned with them and the golden hour sun. Captured the cute moment where the mother and father were holding hands. They noticed me afterwards and they asked if I had an instagram so they could see my work. We had a little chat and I showed the fresh photo directly on my camera screen, they were really happy with it ! I love the tones and how the backlight enhances group.

This is my home. Every time I go back to visit, it feels as if I’m on my own island where no one is there. It’s just me and the aqua sea, like my own more positive version of Castaway.

Our 3 hour roadtrip to Port Stephens ended with a last-minute visit to Anna Bay. Good friend Josh stood there, taking pictures of the water while I snapped a quick photograph of him in usual stance.

An unplanned trip to the Mornington Peninsula brought us to Gunnamatta Beach. This incredible surf beach is only a 1h30 drive away from Melbourne. I was still in the water when I saw the sun starting to come down and the sky transforming into bright orange and gold colours. Having spent an idyllic morning snorkelling over the Ningaloo reef we were on our way to the car and took one last look back at the beach. It was too beautiful not to capture.

I was on vacation in Barbados with my friends from university in may 2016. Barbados is right next door to the island I’m from (St. Vincent) and though I’ve always heard about it’s beaches, I was in awe of the beauty in person. This was the first picture I took at this particular beach named “Brandon’s Beach� and is one of my favorite pictures of the whole trip because I couldn’t believe paradise was just in my backyard.
