The Best Skyline Spots Near me

I was visiting my family in Kuala Lumpur and decided to go on a photo walk for the first time. This was taken from KL Tower, the tallest man made structure in Malaysia. The view at night is breathtaking and reminds me of how much more there is to see in the places we’ve been living in, but never really observing from a distance.

It was a stressful day for me, ever since I came to Hongkong I’ve been living in an uncomfortable life and it was the same that afternoon. It was that afternoon I spotted this view, and I realized perhaps there really is someone up there watching us and shine a stroke of light to make our life less dark. Then I took this image to remind me when there is a hard time.

I was in the US for the first time, I have visited all the places and that includes Empire State Building, I’ve been waiting for the sunset 4 hours there, I was freezing but it was worth the shot. Hope you like it.

I was at KL tower and from there the view was so amazing with the haze surrounding the tall skyscrapers, sky covered with stormy clouds lighting up with the rays of setting sun.

We were having a BBQ on a rooftop while it was pouring rain and while we got extremely wet, I was lucky enough to get some beautiful photos of the city’s glow and everyone still had fun.

This is a vantage point seen often on social media, and I wanted to find it, but no one was forthcoming with the info. I started to use Google Maps 3D to try and locate where this was. I knew the ballpark—it had to be northeast of downtown. So after many attempts trying to find this cluster of palm trees, I eventually came across what had to be the location. This area, within Lincoln Heights, has lovely views but is off the beaten path. It was time for me to go make my photograph. That will never get old. I’ve loved that process ever since I was a kid. Here’s to many more in 2018!

I was wandering around Brooklyn’s riverside at dusk when I stumbled upon East River State Park and a closed off pier. I was able to rig up this long exposure poking my lens through the fence. It was a hot summer evening and the park was bustling so shooting this deserted pier really felt like a luxury!

A couple friends and I were walking through the streets of downtown reminiscing our summer. There was a building near one the places I visited in the summer so we decided to climb to the top. The door to the roof was unlocked so we decided to take some photos. Ended up with the brilliant thoughts that remind me of summer 2017.
