Megève
- Megève is a commune in the Haute-Savoie department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region in southeastern France with a population of more than 3,000 residents. The town is well known as a ski resort near Mont Blanc in the French Alps. Conceived in the 1920s as a French alternative to St. Moritz by the Rothschilds, it was the first purpose-built resort in the Alps. Originally it was a prime destination for the French aristocracy. It remains one of the most famous and fanciest ski resorts in the world.

Col de la Forclaz
- Col de la Forclaz is a mountain pass in the Alps in the Canton of Valais in Switzerland. It connects Martigny at 471 m and Le Châtelard. The road from Martigny to the Col has an average gradient of 6% but in parts is closer to 8%. After the Col, and Le Châtelard, the road leads to Chamonix in France via Vallorcine and the Col des Montets. The pass was little known in the 19th century. It was not until the rise in tourism, particularly in Chamonix, that the region became a popular tourist area.

Puy de Dôme
- Puy de Dôme is a lava dome and one of the youngest volcanoes in the Chaîne des Puys region of Massif Central in central France. This chain of volcanoes including numerous cinder cones, lava domes and maars is far from the edge of any tectonic plate. Puy de Dôme was created by a Peléan eruption, some 10,700 years ago. Puy de Dôme is approximately 10 kilometres from Clermont-Ferrand. The Puy-de-Dôme département is named after the volcano.

- Gandhinagar is the capital of the state of Gujarat in India. Gandhinagar is located approximately 23 km north of Ahmedabad, on the west central point of the Industrial corridor between Delhi, the political capital of India, and Mumbai, the financial capital of India.

- Ufenau is an island located, with the neighbouring island of Lützelau, in Lake Zürich in Switzerland between Freienbach and Rapperswil. Highlights on Ufenau include St. Peter & Paul church, St. Martin's chapel, and Ufenau's idyllic landscape in the Frauenwinkel protected area.

Lake Silvaplana
- Lake Silvaplana is a lake in the Upper-Engadine valley of Grisons, Switzerland. It takes its name from the village of Silvaplana. The lake is also connected to the nearby Lej da Champfèr. Together with its larger neighbour, Lake Sils, it is among the largest lakes of the Grisons. Lake Silvaplana is overlooked by several mountains over 3,000 metres, notably Piz Corvatsch, Piz Julier and Piz Surlej.

Travelers Tips and Stories about Paragliding

On my trip through New Zealand I met one guy how also comes from Germany and slept in the same ski lodge. He offers us to give us a free paragliding flight if we will drive his car down in the valley. Guys this was just awesome! We get to free paragliding flights (it was the first time for me) and it was just perfect. :)

Whilst skiing this paraglider launched from the piste next to me. Luckily I had my camera in a back pack and after some fumbling was able to share his vista gliding down into the valley. Really pleased to catch a moment with better contrast whilst he was framed against the sky rather than the darker forest

I don’t have the right words to describe Norway… This photo was taken right above Bergen, I took a hike to Ulriken mountain which is amazing and beautiful, but above all the view on the city is remarkable! Luckily at that time some folks took a paragliding ride which added more flare to picture…
