March 2017, on the eve of my 28th Birthday, I decided to try and catch the Norther Lights for the first time. We sat in the national park Þingvellir, just outside Reykjavik for a few hours, freezing, unsure what we were looking for. Then right in the distance I saw a very feint white light appear in the sky where the clouds were just a short hour ago. I pointed it out just as people started to stand up and get excited. The lights started here and danced above our heads and over to the other side of the hill we were standing on. I cried.

Landmannalaugar, Iceland - one the most beautiful places in Iceland. The drive to this place via the F-Roads, the sceneries, the numerous lakes, snow capped mountains, etc… all of this just adds fuel to the fire.

The beautiful views of the Hooker Valley Track are so special. Winter is the best time of year to go for snow capped peaks and an adventurous walk to the glacier.

Our feet took us up high into the snowy mountains and all the way down into the bottom of the valley where we saw mud pots and hot springs.

Witnessing nature’s light display of the Northern Lights at Tromso, Norway is a truly awe inspiring and magical experience. Indeed, Mother Nature puts on the best light show on Earth.

A picture that I really love from a trip in Wyoming. Just near the city of Jackson, you can find the National Elk Refuge, where a huge herd of elks find some peace before returning to Yellowstone, where it belongs.

I decided to get off the highway and explore the obscure and remote glaciers in Vatanjökull. After a very bumpy ride and some hiking, fate decided it was a goats and glaciers kind of morning for me.

My friend who is a Pilot for Air Safaris in my hometown, Lake Tekapo - New Zealand, asked if I wanted to join her on a flight as she had a spare seat. Of course I could not say no, as surrounding Lake Tekapo are beautiful mountains and stunning scenery!

I took this picture in December, 2018; during my first trip in Northern Norway. Seeing Aurora Borealis was an item of my not-so-long bucket list. And I’m happy I managed to witness this sky during my very first attempt.

Snaefellsnes in iceland, the part that also hosts arrow shaped mountain (or as it’s called for non-GoT viewers: Kirkjufell ;)). We hiked through snow at the top of Mt Rainier in summer. The flowers found their way.

During my walk of the Kungsleden in the north of sweden, I had many, many great views and a whole bunch of amazing landscapes. This picture is one of my favorites because I slept there two days and had a great time.
