We drove around to some of the small towns surrounding Struisbaai today. This particular one is called Elim - interesting fact is that all the roads in this town lead to the Church that founded the town! So cool right?!

We were need of an emergency Airbnb on the Lofoten Islands, but we arrived there so late we couldn’t check out our surroundings. The next morning we realised we had found a really typical Norwegian fishing village, which was nice.

For eighteen years now my mom and sister and I have had an annual getaway weekend, the first year was ice skating in the Pacific Northwest and this year we ended up in a cabin in the woods.
