I captured this elderly couple as they passed us by during our hike in Roháče valley in West Tatras (mountains bordering Poland and Slovakia). Each year around the end of September (our tradition dates back to 2011) we cherish the opportunity to meet for 3–4 days with our mates and we travel from one hut to the other with our heavy backpacks. Of course each night we also drink local beers and play a tournament in a game of Liar’s Dice!
The mountains can be so quiet and so calm - it’s easier to have a moment in these beautiful surroundings
I went hiking with my family to the Carpathian Mountains in Slovakia, and I was surprised by the beautiful natural sights. This photo was taken in July, which makes the presence of the fog over the forest even more unusual.

A snap I took during a walk with our 15 mo daughter. Uneasy thing to do both things well at the same time (walk with a toddler and take photographs), but sometimes you catch a great shot, especially when you’re staying in such a great place (Liptovski Trnovec, Slovakia).
