This is my favorite view at a lake I found so far in Austria. Discovered this randomly, while swiping around on Google Maps.

Waves splashing gently, Sea of green laps at your hull, The horizon calls. It’s one of the most amazing qualities of a drone, to be able to sit far away, and send yourself to take a peek at things beyond your reach. We spent a fun time sitting at a panorama and chasing boats over the surface of Wolfgangsee. Capturing one just the way I wanted was a nice little challenge that further helped push my control of the little aerial monster. As always it makes me itch to go send it flying again, and discover new sceneries through it’s flying eyes.

It was a long walk to find this place, but in the end it was exactly as it’s in the movie. Just watch here to compare => https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=40&v=GvQJbF2CXLQ

Myself (@sam.travel) and Mike (@mikevisuals) took a cable car to the top of St. Gilgen. We geared up and hiked over to the side of the mountain to start preparing the paragliding equipment. The sun was setting as we ran off the edge and started our flight. I captured this image as I turned for one last look at the beautiful mountain. We started the descent.

Hallstatt is known as one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Its famous view is the one showing a beautiful church but I kinda loved this one, a lonely chair to relax and enjoy the views to the lake and mountains.

That day we just got back from a super exhausted hiking and I head into this only Billa supermarket try to grab some food before it closed, while other students just went back directly to the Hotel. But when I got out that’s what I saw. Like, suddenly, I fell nothing but joy and lucky.

I tried to capture the Grimming in Upper Styria (Austria) together with my buddy Christian. Unfortunately there was too much fog so we decided to just try other compositions. This endless road is what we came up with. Shot in the middle of the night with nearly no light at all.

We reached this dreamy waterfall after a 10-minute walk from Golling. If you continue walking uphill you get more and more views of this waterfall coming down the rocks. Finally you will also see its origin at the very top of the mountain.

I was going to another place called Dachstein Mountain, to walk on a suspension bridge, but it was so snowy that day, that I decided to not go. So when I was walking in the forest, I found this incredible place and I didn’t think twice, put my drone to fly and took this photo

So after not having been able to see a sunrise at my first flight, I decided to do a second trip, quite a bit of time later though. I got up at half past four and drove to the airport. We planned to take-off at about 10 minutes before five so we could see the sun rising at around 5:00. Everything went well and we were in the air circling around and waiting for the sun to rise above those mountains. After several minutes of waiting I finally saw it. The sun, a giant ball of plasma, has just risen above the mountains and shone in a deep red. I really never saw such a beautiful thing like that.

I took this image the second time I flew in a small airplane. I was just able to capture a absolutely incredibly sunrise over the alps a few minutes before when I saw this georgeous scene. Two clouds were hovering above the peaks of the mountains visible in the image and were beautifully lit by the sun whereas the valley near to them still was in darkness.

High above the clouds the view to the mountains always drag me away. The best part of winter when I can go high in the mountains.

It had been a nice vacation in austria so far, but the weather had been quite unsatisfying the whole week. Though it was the middle of summer, our shirts had been staying in the suitcase every day. Plus it had been constantly cloudy. Carrying my heavy camera around seemed like a mockery. When we arrived at the top of the Kitzsteinhorn in Kaprun, which is 3029 metres high, the sun finally came out. It lasted for about five minutes at most. But that was enough to take a few pictures.
