The Kitzsteinhorn is a mountain in the High Tauern range of the Central Eastern Alps in Austria. It is part of the Glockner Group and reaches a height of 3,203 m AA. The Kitzsteinhorn Glaciers are a popular ski area.

It had been a nice vacation in austria so far, but the weather had been quite unsatisfying the whole week. Though it was the middle of summer, our shirts had been staying in the suitcase every day. Plus it had been constantly cloudy. Carrying my heavy camera around seemed like a mockery. When we arrived at the top of the Kitzsteinhorn in Kaprun, which is 3029 metres high, the sun finally came out. It lasted for about five minutes at most. But that was enough to take a few pictures.
