Sayulita is located on the Pacific Ocean in western Mexico. The town is located north of Puerto Vallarta, a picturesque road leads here, which is situated in the middle between the Pacific coast and the tropical forests of the Sierra de Vallejo mountains. Surfers in the 60s of the last century discovered this place and told like-minded people about the miles of golden beaches and ideal waves. Since then, Sayulita has become a popular holiday destination for Canadian and American vacationers, with festivals and holidays regularly held here. Tourists call a trip to Sayulite "a walk over the rainbow". Tiny storefronts of local artisans' products are painted in bright colours of pink, orange, blue, yellow. Here you can buy leather bags and handmade shoes, jewellery, rustic ceramics and much more.
