Taghazout is a village in the prefecture of Agadir Ida-Outanane, in the Souss-Massa region of Morocco. Located on the Atlantic coast, halfway between Agadir and Cape Ghir, this seaside resort has beautiful extensive beaches. It offers great natural diversity and famous surf spots.
Taghazout offers a beautiful setting. Here, the panorama does not surrender in any way to that of Agadir! The sun shines all year round and its beach, bordered by the mountains of the High Atlas, extends over nearly 4.3 miles (7 km). The forest of argan trees that borders it offers visitors a surprising natural diversity.
The main street is the heart of the village with lots of good little restaurants and cafés to drink real Moroccan tea, surf shops, and the mosque at the beginning of the village. But you will be charmed by these typical Moroccan narrow streets. On the ocean side as well as on the mountainside.
Obviously, the city is very famous for its surf spots, so why not try it, beginner or advanced, there is for all levels.
