Auronzo di Cadore is a comune in the province of Belluno in the Italian region of Veneto, located about 120 kilometres north of Venice and about 50 kilometres northeast of Belluno.
Sorapiss, also referred to as Sorapis or Punta Sorapiss, is a mountain in the Dolomites within the Veneto region of northern Italy. Situated in the comune of Cortina d'Ampezzo, it has an elevation of 3,205 metres. In its vicinity is a mountain pass of the same name, as well as Lago di Sorapiss, at the foot of the mountain.
