Free When was the last time you felt free? I mean really free. Without all the thoughts in your head -things you need to do today, tomorrow, next week -things for your work -housework and child care The thoughts are racing and even outside and enjoying there’s always something in the back of your mind that doesn’t let you being free. I had this problem for a short time. I found my personal solution: as often as possible I go into nature, but I always look for hiking paths that challenge me, whatever way- it can be steep, far, cold, rainy or I try to walk faster, to go further than last time or whatever- you make your own challenge. If my mind is busy there’s no place for stressful thoughts. That’s when I feel totally free. Do you have your own way to relax and be free? Tell me about it-one’s never too old to learn something new. . . 📸by @luca.schranz . .

Via Ferrata de Luca/Innerkofler This Via Ferrata is named after the first alpine mountain guide in Austria who was the first to guide women in the mountains at the beginning of 20th Century. The women had to dress like men to be allowed to climb the 3 Cime. I‘m so glad times have changed. In the wilderness we are all equal and it depends on our skills and not on our gender if we can climb the highest mountains. Ladies, believe in you and your strength 💪🏻 you can achieve everything. . . 📸by @luca.schranz . .

Have you ever wondered why swimming here is not allowed anymore? It’s no protected zone-it’s because of the water color. Since 2019 swimming is no longer permitted in the lake. This regulation has been brought about because of the number of people now visiting the lake on a daily and annual basis. A few years ago there were only a few people. The few people that dared into the water, had little or no effect to the lake. Nowadays it is visited by as many as 5000 visitors a day! If a few hundred decide to take a quick dip, i.e., wash off their sweat, sunscreen, make-up and even use it as a place to have a pee, it would soon lose its colour. Why? Because this lake appeared as the glacier melted. All the sediment is at the bottom of the lake- that’s where the blue color cames from and also the reason why the water is not clear. If you swim there the water turns muddy and dark. Its not beautiful anymore. People wouldn’t visit it anymore. I waited for the rangers and asked them all about this. If you’re alone, so you don’t disturb anybody, and you don’t use any sunscreen or make up you can enter the water. This is no protected area and you can’t harm anything. If you want to be sure-just ask the rangers. Don’t forget to enjoy this incredible beauty 😍🏔✌🏻 . . 📸by @luca.schranz . .

Lago do Braies-the most visited lake in the Dolomites. To enjoy a beautiful day at this amazing lake you don’t need to take a long and exhausting hike. Just walk 200 meters from the car park to the lake. It’s super easy accessible even with Baby buggies. ⚠️know before you go: during the summer months at the weekends the parking is already full at about 10 am. You’re not allowed to enter the road with your car and need to park in the last village you pass. So the way to the lake make take you some 5-8 kilometers. Make sure to go early on weekends, go during the week or wait until mid September 👍🏻 It’s very calm and nice during the autumn season. You can rent a boat until the middle or if nice weather until the end of October. Enjoy 😉😘 . . 📸by @luca.schranz . .

Lago di Braies- I love this place and I try to spend some time here every time I come across. Normally it’s raining... this time it was hailing🤣 ⚠️know before you go⚠️ Somewhere in between I tried to come again but it was a sunny weekend. Don’t even try to come here on sunny weekends! You’re not even allowed to use to road leading here when all parking lots are full. You need to park your car somewhere at the main road and walk here for about 3-5 kilometers (and of course all the way back again). Just to find out that there’s no single place to sit and no boat free for a ride. Skip that!! By the way- meanwhile the boat costs 28€ for 1 hour. . . 📸by @luca.schranz . .

This is how I imagine Mordor in real life. Barren, cold, dark rocks. With the sun shining in even the darkest landscapes become paradise. . Here are some useful informations for drone flying in the Dolomites. I never fly when not 100% sure that I’m allowed to do. 🇮🇹 There’s no zone where you’re not allowed to fly except zones that are visibly marked as “no drone zones” 🇮🇹All drones, except those under 250 gramm, have to be registered in advance on the “D-Flight” page. 🇮🇹 you need to prove that the drone is insured for all cases that may occur Have fun 👍🏻 . . 📸by @luca.schranz . .

Ice cold dips in a mountain lake. I love it and it’s so healthy: ice bathing reduces the stress levels, slows down the aging process, boosts the immune system and has much more health benefits. Who would like to go with me 🤗? . . 📸by @luca.schranz . .

Just can’t wait anymore to explore the world and all the places I haven’t seen yet. Hope that this lockdown will be over soon. This will be the first place I’m gonna go. For me it’s one of the best mountain view’s 🏔 The best view of the 3 Cime is inside the Paternkofel mountain. These holes have been made by the Austrian army during the World War 1 to shoot the oncoming Italian soldiers. . . .

Can you laugh about yourself? I do. Cause sometimes it’s so stupid, that I laugh my ass off about myself. 😂😂 I mean, the video was filmed secretly. Look how I behave in public 🤷🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️ Yah. That’s me. I never would believe I look this stupid, if I wouldn’t have seen this video 📹😱😂 I can’t change myself, that’s my character and I already got used to it. Now, I don’t care what people might think. Whatever they may think- I am what I am. Don’t let anybody change you! Be proud of yourself and who you are! Believe me, I know by experience-life is better when you don’t care about others and just be yourself 💪🏻 . . 📸by @luca.schranz . . 🇩🇪

And the last beautiful place around Berchtesgaden ⛪️ just can’t describe the beauty of nature and the mountains in the background. Rep in mind to be patient when traveling in winter. Sometimes there absolutely no view of the mountains cause the sky is cloudy and foggy... but the weather can change within a few minutes and opens to the greatest views. So maybe it’s better to stay around, enjoy a coffee or a traditional hot chocolate ☕️🍩and wait a bit as I did 😉 . . .

Wonderful Wernigerode 🤩 Enjoy the Sunday peeps ❤️❤️ • Travel Tip: should you plan to visit this place (town hall) you should consider going there when all the shops around are closed, cause otherwise there will be crowds of people on your pic. Go before the opening hours in the morning, in the evening or early on sundays 👌🏻 And check before going the events in Wernigerode, cause it can happen, that there’s some kind of market (as there is almost every second week a market) just in front the town hall- no pic possible 😱 . . .📸by me with tripod 😂 . .

Ad/Werbung 🏰 Burg Eltz - a really magical place 🧙🏻♀️- a witness of the Middle Ages! Every stone has a gloomy story to tell of a long gone time ❤️ it’s up to your imagination to hear it 🧙🏻♀️ . If you want to go there, avoid the weekends as there are loads of people and you won’t have a chance to take a picture without other peeps on it. Go on weekdays in the morning and if it’s a cloudy or rainy day you’ll be almost alone 👌🏻📸 good luck 🍀 . . . . .

The isolation is kinda scary. In the mountain ms it’s a bit weird but this waterfall normally is a very crowded with locals, tourists and hikers-look at it now. Not a single soul the whole day. I totally understand that people living in the cities don’t have any choice to enjoy a bit of fresh air and the first warm spring sun ☀️ than to go to the parks-the disadvantage of course: many people ➡️ higher risk of spreading Corona. What I just don’t get is: people here in the mountains could go every day for hiking or sit by lonely mountain lakes...there are so many possibilities to go out and still be totally alone. But no! They still prefer to walk around the city center and sit in crowds in the small parks instead enjoying the less crowded places. How is it your city/town/village? . . . 📸&🎥 by @luca.schranz . .

I have enough of all the snow storms, torturing us in Austria 🇦🇹 with meters of snow and strong winds. I love the winter the most, but I have enough of clearing snow all day. Sometimes, and really only sometimes, I wish for sun and a beach to chill. Best memories of the Portugal trip in November 🤩 . . 📸 by @ingowillich . .

Went to Portugal for the first time this year and I must confess that I was speechless 😶 Never expected to find so much beauty in a coast line like the Algarve coast. This Benagil Cave is one of the most beautiful caves I’ve ever seen! The problem is to get in- the best way is by swimming through the (as I was there) icy cold and rough Atlantic Ocean and slip in throughout cliffs. But it was definitely worth the fight against the water 🌊 . . 📸 by @ingowillich . .

Benagil Caves One of the most magical places I’ve ever visited. First we tried to get in by boat, not possible! Then we tried to hire a small boat, not possible! Then we tried to rent a kayak, stand up paddle or a rowing boat, not possible! So damn- let’s swim! If you want to get on this beach you have to swim 🏊🏻♂️ Not so easy when the Atlantic Ocean has only 16 degrees. But for us it was definitely worth it. Would you do that? . . 📸by @ingowillich . . 🇵🇹

Portugal- this is the best cave I’ve ever seen in my life. The best view over the ocean 🌊 and the most spectacular stone windows 🌅 absolutely impressive! How to find it? That’s the problem! It was on our bucketlist anyway, but we found it by accident. I couldn’t find any description how to get there and we were looking for some natural pools to swim as we found this cave instead of the pools 😂😂😂 well, reading about it afterwards showed me that’s it’s definitely not there as all the descriptions say 🤦🏼♀️ im so glad we found it by accident, otherwise we wouldn’t have found it at all❤️ . . 📸by @ingowillich . . 🇵🇹

Feeling like arrived on planet Mars 😮 what a crazy landscape❤️ .⚠️travel advice: thousands of people run to this place to watch the sunset. You can go, but it won’t be fun- absolutely no feeling of privacy or romantic. And it’s not even the best place for sunsets 🌅. If you want to enjoy a sunset choose Praia do Camilo- it’s just 5 min away from Ponta de Piedade. . .📸 by @ingowillich . .

Beautiful Bali 🌴 The Sekumpul Waterfall is breathtaking. One of my favorite places on the island. I heard that it can be really crowded but I must confess that I haven’t met many people there and I stayed there almost the whole day. Banyumala twin falls This gem is deeply hidden into the balinese jungle. But the hike is short and not too steep, as my 2 years old daughter made it by herself down there. But it’s muddy and slippery so you could arrive there looking like you had a mud spa package on the way 😂 ⚠️ travel advice: be extremely cautious where you step when you walk around without shoes! I stepped onto a poisonous plant and guys I can tell you it feels like hell. It hurt 12 hours and my leg twitched uncontrollably so I couldn’t walk anymore. It hurts like HELL. So please keep in mind and walk in the jungle with shoes. Enjoy a bath in this waterfall pool as the water is really warm and it feels fantastic ☺️ . . 📸by @ingowillich . .
