📍Odeon of Herodes Atticus Now while I was reading about it, I was amazed to know that this Roman Era Concert Hall which was raised in 161 AD still holds live even today by renowned artist during summers. This blows my mind. But yes I was kind of unlucky that at the time I visited there were no shows planned. Follow @chasing_whereabouts For more Travel Stories. Most of the places in Oia near the blue dome are restricted for tourists. Only guests staying in those villas can enter these areas. However, there were some smart travellers, crossing boundaries to get the picture clicked. P.S- I am standing outside the restricted area. . . . . . . .

5000 seating capacity of ancient roman threatre where live shows still take place. To be noted that only best performers and renowned artists get the chance to perform here in summers 🇬🇷 . Unfortunately due to covid, no show took place this summers . . 🇬🇷

This postcard view was taken from Lindenhof Hill in Zurich, Switzerland 🇨🇭 This hill has a public square which is more like a garden and huge chess board. Commonly known as Outdoor Chess, you can easily find locals playing chess here. As this is a hill, you will have to hike a little through steps. Whenever I visit again, I will make sure to take the same picture at night with glittering lights. Zurich has few famous churches, opera house and beautiful river. The best part is that you can travel complete capital (Bern, the capital of Switzerland) on a walking tour. Its indeed worth a visit because of its natural beauty and architecture. Just make sure you don't go on Sunday as many things are closed. It is recommended to spare atleast one day trip to Bern. . . . . . . . . . . . . 🇨🇭 🇨🇭 🇨🇭

Such clear sadness in a monument. The groaning pain of a dying Lion. The Lion Monument is in Lucerne, Switzerland. The huge lion has been carved out of a wall of sandstone rock. It was designed as a memorial for the mercenary soldiers from central Switzerland who lost their lives while serving the French king Louis XVI during the French Revolution.

**Top Things to do in Berlin, Germany** Victory Column - Siegessäule⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ In the heart of Tiergarten Park, Victory Column with its golden statue is one of the city’s top sight in Berlin. You can climb at the top for exhilarating panoramic views!⠀ ⠀ The Victory Column’s viewing platform is set directly below the figure of the goddess – at the top of a spiral staircase of 285 steps. With the staircase narrowing as its approaches the top, this climb requires a reasonable level of fitness and is nothing for the faint-hearted. It's not easy at all, try to carry your water bottle.⠀ ⠀ The statue is of Victoria, the goddess of victory, the Roman counterpart of the Greek goddess Nike. **Top Things to do in Berlin** Berlin TV Tower, also known as Berliner Fernsehturm⠀ ⠀ There an observation deck at the Tower and a revolving restaurant (Bar 203) at Berlin TV Tower. It's a total of 90 minutes tour and everyone is notified 30 minutes before the ascent. Before that, you can do shopping or roam around Alexanderplatz.⠀ ⠀ Sadly I was unable to go there because the tickets were supposed to be bought at the box office and the wait time was 2 hours. My itinerary of 24 hours in Berlin didn't allow me to go up there at the observation deck. ⠀ ⠀ Despite Covid 19 and pandemic, there were many visitors and the queue was too long.⠀ ⠀ Admission Ticket for Berlin TV Tower:⠀ ⠀ Adults: from 18,50 €⠀ Student ticket: from 14,80 € (Can only be bought at the box office, ground floor of Berlin Tower)⠀ Children: from 9,50 €⠀ Children: free entry ages 0-3⠀ ⠀ The tickets are available on-site at the Alexanderplatz TV Tower in Berlin at the box office or at the ticket machine. **Top Things to do in Berlin** River Cruises and Boat Trips⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ Berlin has two large rivers - Spree and Havel - as well as lots of lakes and canals where ships and boat cruise. The Spree river flows in arches through the centre of Berlin, south of it runs the Landwehr canal. Picturesque White Tower- Light House Many places are yet undiscovered by travelers living in Frankfurt. These places are heavenly, beautiful and picturesque. Here I am talking about a small town Bad Homburg which is about 40km from Frankfurt. The Hungarian Parliament Building...This golden monument is a treat to your eyes. Its best to watch it from a boat cruise at night. . Between the two personalities of people ( Buda & Pest ) living in Budapest, this architecture stands tall on the side of Pest taunting the beauty of Buda. 😂 . . I never knew Budapest together was derived from the combination of two regions 'Buda & Pest' 🙄 . . . . . . . . . .
