We were on our way to our cabin in Pinetop, Arizona, we were in the car when suddenly we saw this huge frozen lake, immediately we pull over, it was beautiful, the silence, the cold, there was no one else, it was very peaceful.

We hiked up to the famous horseshoe bend in Paige, Arizona… running, no, sprinting down to the right spot trying to make it before sundown. We had all of 3 minutes to take as many breathtaking photos as we could before it turned dark. Was the 5 hour drive for 3 minutes of this amazing view at sunset worth it? Absolutely.
