This was my second time in NY city and I had a mission to take a good picture of this landmark because I failed to do it first time. I used my Joby Gorillapod and ND filter in order to capture a crisp long exposure shot and spent quite some time sitting on the ground, playing with different settings, trying to catch a perfect vehicle trail.

Shot in December of 2016 in New York. Probably my favourite NYC landmark by a long distance. Such an iconic building.

I was in the US for the first time, I have visited all the places and that includes Empire State Building, I’ve been waiting for the sunset 4 hours there, I was freezing but it was worth the shot. Hope you like it.

I was in NY with my brother for a week of street photography and exploration. Shooting the Empire State building was at the top of my list. I wanted to bring out the fact that he dominates the city despite other high buildings -a central and majestic skyscraper.

This picture what was made from the 230 Fifth Rooftop Bar in NYC. From there you have an amazing view directly to the Empire State Building. While making this photo the weather switched rapidly and the clouds and fog curled around the building.

Traveling from Central America, the first impression of the big apple was two things gather in this pictures, skyscraper and surveillance, it was great to be in NYC, but I couldn’t ignored how this two things can make the first impression.

I was walking down the streets of Tribeca outside of my WeWork office and was fascinated by the symmetry and beauty of Greenwich Avenue. The World Trade Center looked phenomenal.

Found a incredible burger joint that sits on a rooftop midway above the city in lower east side manhattan called Tavern 29. All the lighting and accessories were all part of the experience.

Was lucky enough to visit New York a few weeks back. I had in my head I wanted to take one of those iconic photos of people crossing the street in New York.

A quick shot whilst crossing a busy street in New York City capturing traffic, padestrians, birds and the classic NYC Vibe.

I took this juste before getting on the bus back to Boston, after an entire day walking the streets of Manhattan on my own and shooting. Surely one of the best days of my life!

This, like my last New York shot, was taken during my last trip to New York City. This was taken from the top of the Rockefeller Building looking towards the Empire State Building. If you look close you can see the Statue of Liberty in the upper back right.

New York, New York. The city that never sleeps. The Big Apple. The city so nice, they named it twice! Whatever name you know the city by I think it’s safe to say everyone will recognise the bright lights and high rises that help make New York, New York. I spent 6 days exploring the big city, from night viewings on the Top of The Rock to golden hour on Brooklyn Bridge and it lived up to and surpassed every expectation I had. While this is a picture thousands of people had taken, I was working just on the Brooklyn side of the Brooklyn Bridge and so I took my camera and tripod with me and took this image.

I was wandering around Brooklyn’s riverside at dusk when I stumbled upon East River State Park and a closed off pier. I was able to rig up this long exposure poking my lens through the fence. It was a hot summer evening and the park was bustling so shooting this deserted pier really felt like a luxury!

One of the coldest days I have ever experienced. Sunny, below freezing and the wind must have been blowing 50 mph through lower Manhattan. As we exited the 9/11 Memorial, I had to capture this image of the Freedom Tower, frozen in time.

I was just amazed by two things. How this place is really beautiful and how amazing an iPhone picture can be. Day light really helped.

This is one of the best places to view the sunset in New York City. Over on the Brooklyn side in Dumbo is this cove that offers views of the Brooklyn Bridge, Jane’s Carousel and the Manhattan Skyline.

First time experience rain in NYC. I’m used to be rain proof back in the Philippines but the weather in NYC is different.

As we were driving into New York, I saw this sign for the first time, and just knew that I had to get a photo of it. Every day, walking out of our hotel, I would look up and hope for good clouds and lighting, and on day three, I finally got lucky.
