The water in Lake Superior is almost always freezing even when its summertime. But people always jump in, why? Because its so beautiful, it wasn’t very warm out to begin with on this day but I never heard the water calling my name so badly.

This lighthouse was built in the early 1800’s and was functional up until the 1980’s. One family owned it that entire time, and the man who built it lived here until his death with his small family that consisted of him, his wife, and his 12 children.
