Just driving through a national park and enjoying the views and my wife said she didn’t want to stop and I said, “just for a second”. We were blown away by the beauty. I stayed here taking pictures for three hours. I want to go back.

We were recommended this place by someone we had met on the road. I wasn’t exactly sure what to expect until we got closer. We later learned it was a plug in a now inactive volcano and after years of erosion, it was revealed to be this massive tower shooting up to the sky. The Native Americans hold this place sacred with stories of it’s creation. Even to this day, prayer flags and offerings from the Native Americans can be seen when you do the 1.3 mile walk around the tower.
