I laid in the mud along the shoreline of the marsh just as the sun was rising. This Snowy Egret made its way right in front of the sun for a nice silhouette as it stalked the shallows in search of food.

We took a day trip to Philadelphia to explore and create. We ended up in Rittenhouse Square, my favorite area of Philly. I took this picture right before we went to get smoothies. It captures the feeling you get in the Rittenhouse area; the hustle and bustle of city life, great tones, incredible buildings, but a small hometown vibe. When I see this picture it puts me back in that happy place.

My first time ever seeing these rare nearly all white deer in the wild. I spotted this one just before sunrise in the Pine Barrens in the middle of southern New Jersey. When I first caught a glimpse of it I thought it was trash on the far side of a lake. When I pointed the lens at it I quickly realized it was a piebald whitetail deer and a great looking one at that. The calm morning gave a nice reflection on the water. I watched this deer for maybe 2 minutes before it disappeared into the forest.

I’m from Brazil and this was my first visit to DC. Me and couple friends went there for the day and it was absolutely amazing. This city is so pretty, welcoming and light. Time flies because there’s so much to do and see that you catch yourself running against the clock to be able to do everything it offers you.
