Travel guide of SnowdonIt was a gruelling climb up Y Garn (947m), North Wales in the dark this particular morning, with the objective of capturing the sunrise from the top. It was well worth the total exhaustion! As the sun rose higher we then headed over towards Glyder Fawr (1001m) to get better views across the Snowdonia mountain range. As we came over the ridge this was the view that confronted us. A stunning spectacle of light and shadows created my mist/haze over the mountain tops and valleys. Swapping the wide angle lens for a zoom lens enabled capturing of the full impact of the layered light.

The Snowdon is the highest peak in Wales. It is 1085 meters high, and I never been lucky enough to see her live in good weather.

On a day hike up Mount Snowdon in Wales I found a hidden lake of crystal blue water. After trying to find the perfect vantage point for the best part of an hour I captured this shot of hidden water.

Shot this at Pen Y Pass (Snowdonia) last month during sunset. This time of year the sun sets between the mountains and just behind Padarn and Peris lakes.
