Travel guide of PlymouthIt was a warm summer morning when I was out on the beach not too far from my Mum’s house. It was so calming at peaceful having the beach to myself, apart from the sea snails and limpets in the picture that is! I feel that this photo really captures the calm that pre-dawn always brings, as well as the beauty of the sea looking misty and eerie with the long exposure.

A photograph from Sheepstor, Dartmoor that I took from the tor opposite. It’s a great spot that overlooks Burrator reservoir and most of Plymouth. Not too hard on the legs either!

I met this guy abroad his boat, when he’s not catching fish for the local coast town he’s making the most of the sun and tourists. he would take guided tours abroad is vessel and being to spill out this life time of knowledge of the local area and life beyond. If is hands could talk of the rough seas and stormy weathers outside of the summer season and beyond we’d begin to release how much work goes into the survival of are coastal towns.

Holiday in cornwall, this style of edit is new to me and I’ve been on a path of learning. I used my Canon 750D and my 55-200mm lens to take this.

Another one from my holiday, this time a fisherman waiting for his catch. Edited in Lightroom to give this other world feel.

The black and white contrast in this photo brings out the dramatic seas. Whilst not too rough, the wind was building, as were the seas. The shadows cast by the varying levels of rock add a level of detail only brought out by the use of contrast.

The sister photo to the black and white version, this brings out the beautiful blue sky, set against the sun reflecting off the water. The bench on the cliff top a perfect place to watch the sunset.

Fields and fields of rabbits on the coast of Cornwall. Quite a few birds of prey, so they was quite cautious.

Taken with a fisheye lens to try and get as close to 180 degree view of the upper half of the cathederal and to capture the cross-shape of the gilded ceiling. Was posted earlier in portrait format, but has much more impact in landscape.

Storm season in the UK makes for tricky shooting conditions with a drone. I sought shelter from Storm Atiyah here in December 2019, and hugged the cliffs of the Jurassic coast in an attempt to hide from the wind to shoot a panoramic set.

Beats panic buying! Early Spring skies along the Jurassic Coast. A welcome diversion from the current worldwide panic, that will hopefully be a footnote in history. If not, this is how it used to look ;-)

A last minute drive to Blackchurch Rock in Devon resulted in cracking sunset lighting up the cliff faces. We could barely walk after the 3 hour drive in a Land Rover Defender and got home at 2am, but totally worth it.

Beer is a small fishing village located in East Devon on the Jurassic Coast. With the fishing boats sitting right on the beach, it’s a great place to find colour even on the most overcast of days.

I wanted to see what the colours of the pool looked like in contrast to the sea. Summary - pretty cool.
