Landmark in İstanbul, Turkey

The magnificent Hagia Sophia (Aya Sofya). I shot this photo in 2014 during a working trip to Istanbul. A friend took me to a spot where we can have tea and enjoy the view of both the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. Definitely an amazing historical landmark and structure in Istanbul and the world.

Shore in Wind Rose-sunset viewing point, Turkey

We went to Bozcaada, a cute island in Aegean Sea, for celebrating my birthday! yay! On the west coast, there’s a special sunset view point. We were expecting a small cliff where we go on top and watch the sunset. When we arrived at point, there were hundreds of people, sitting on their blankets, drinking their wine, playing music and enjoying the sunset. It was such a great place that I wish I had a drone to shoot them all in there. Instead, I just got this cliff shot while the sun is setting. It gives such a relief. Happy 27 for me!

Town in Istanbul, Turkey

I took this shot when we were running to catch the plain in Istanbul, Turkey. Because we were a bit late but fortunately the plane got delayed. In all of that chaos, I noticed this beautiful street and didn’t miss the chance to take a shot.

After a trek from San Francisco to Istanbul then getting to Gorem, and going hunting for a Geocache that led me on one of my greatest adventures I found myself the next morning high above the mountains and caves of Cappadocia.

Bridge in Istanbul, Turkey

These fishermen are working daily on the Galata Bridge and taking the fish they catch to the market on the lower level of the walk. It’s beautiful to contemplate their camaraderie and just enjoy a moment of serenity in the middle of the buzz from the 15 million citizens of Istanbul.

Ocean in Güzelyalı Köyü, Turkey

We were hanging out with friends when it was getting set. Also a friend of us has a siberian husky whose name is Snow. It was very beautiful and i wanted to shoot both the dog and sunset. While i was sitting on the floor, i tried to shoot both of them, which also includes sea and pier. It was a charming day.

Road trip in Kemer, Turkey

This is where my grandfather was born and lived his whole life. Away from the city, and it’s poison, as he said. I took this photo when I visited him for the last time, days before he passed away.

Town in Taksim Square, Turkey

Walking back from shooting the sunrise on the Bosphorus toward our hotel near Taksim Square, I loved the way the morning sunlight filtered through the curving streets. The scene also stood in sharp contrast to the night before when this main thoroughfare was filled end-to-end with families out dining, shopping, and celebrating the Ramadan holiday.

Town in Uzungöl Mah., Turkey

This photo was shot on a bridge near this mosque. I was walking alone and saw this amazing view but as I don’t own a DSLR or any professional camera for that matter, I just whipped out my 5s and took this shot just to save it as a memory. This place was amazingly peaceful and the weather made it heavenly.
