I was at Gardens By the Bay East, trying to find the perfect spot. This was taken at the last night at Singapore, doing as much as I could to record the vibrant lights here, and the hospitality I received from this place. This place for me, is like a second home away from Hong Kong.
A close-up sunset shot of Singapore's well-known Flower Dome and Cloud Forest, a large air-conditioned greenhouse containing a variety of flowers and plants.
Soft light in the lake, feel happy. It’s my first time to do night shot with tripod. Marina Bay of Singapore is a beautiful landmark for night shot. I searched the expose parameters in community and learn from that. Manual Mode, ISO100, f/16 or 18 with 20+ seconds of shutter will surprise yourself. Photographing is a long way of learning, and I am looking forward to my next shot.
Swimming pool in Marina Bay Sands Hotel, Singapore
After a day exploring the city of Singapore, I found my way to the top of the Marina Bay Sands Hotel for a drink. I couldn’t have asked for a better view.
I borrowed a coworker’s 1DX for an evening shoot around Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. This is my favorite from that night…one of several good ones. Thanks Chris for use of the camera!

Icons side by side: Foster & Partners' Apple Store sits right across Safdie Architects' ArtScience Museum. It is serene to observe the simplicity of forms.
Cloud Forest at Gardens by the Bay is one of Singapore’s most impressive attractions. This magnificent greenhouse-like glass dome can be seen from miles away and is just as stunning inside as it is from out. The large, climate-controlled dome has spiralling walkways and one of the world’s tallest indoor waterfalls that rains down from over 30 metres above.
