Travel guide of Praia do Guincho6 km from Praia do Guincho
Walking on the edge of the land on a cloudy day, the ocean with big waves against the “walls”. Just found this place where I could watch different shapes of the hills in front of me. Curiosity: I was alone. I took this shot with my camera held on a tripod and with help of the incorporated Wi-Fi of my camera.

My wife and I joined a tour of Sintra in Portugal. The tour guide drove us to a beach for a glimpse of the ocean. Unfortunately, the ocean was completely invisible because of thick fog. Families, however, still managed to gather behind a selfie stick and smile.

Rocks, steep cliffs and hidden beaches along the westernmost point of mainland Europe, where Portugal’s rugged west coast is fully exposed to the cold waves and strong winds from the Atlantic ocean.

After 45minutes of walking, me and my boyfriend find each other so small in the midle of these enourmous mountains that meet the sea in a beach near Lisbon. Few where the ones that stood there, but we all where contemplating the wonders of nature and the simplicity of the light heating the waves at our feat.

It was one of the most interesting places I’ve discovered in Sintra, it’s a deserted beach, mid way down you’re rewarded with this view and when you reach the sand you’re alone, you don’t hear any human noise. It’s amazing.

This shot was taken in a cold winter day, with clear blue sky and powerful waves, in one of the most popular beaches in Lisbon - Carcavelos Beach. Despite of the low temperatures, these three young men chose to ride the waves and have a good time together, away from the rest of the world. As a nature lover myself, I admire those who still enjoy spending time outdoors in valuable way, connecting themselves with others as well as the world around.

In a cold winter day, a sweet young lady is walking on the beach next to the water, close enough to feel the smell of the seawater. Away from the world - she creates her own - holding in her hands something especial. Delicate. Unique.

Aerial view of the rugged coastline along the Sintra national park in the greater Lisbon area. The last light of the day covers the green fields and sandy cliffs in warm golden tones, separating them from the deep blue water of the cold Atlantic ocean.

Lisbon is a city that that is affordable and relaxing. The people who live in Lisbon aren’t in too much of a rush. Visiting this city you can travel at ease, eat delicious food, visit beautiful museums and visit a beautiful place such as Monastery Jeronimos. Lisbon is my second favourite city. I told my dad I may move there one day.

A walk along the beach of Costa da Caparica in a heat of 38 ºC nothing better than refreshing with a good and cold Super Bock. Um passeio pela praia da Costa da Caparica em um calor de 38 ºC nada melhor do que refrescar com uma boa e gelada Super Bock.

Shot of a bird flying over my head at the beach in Costa de Caparica. Caparica - located in the opposite side of Lisbon along the Tago river - is a famous spot for surfers, mainly beginners, in Portugal.

I was walking on the Centro Cultural de Belém in Lisbon when I saw this couple walking to the alley, it was just after noon, there was something about this scene that made me take my camera and take a picture.

On the way back to my residence from a morning of surfing at the beach of Matadouro I had to capture the quietness of the streets in Ericeira. Whilst mornings are busy with cars rushing through the narrow alleys and evenings lively and filled with talk and laughter, the hours around noon display the town as sleepy and peaceful, as if resting under the midday sun.

Waves flushing through a straight limestone crack on the coast of Ericeira, Portugal. Mind-blowing what billions of waves over millions of years can do to solid rock.

We fell in love with Lisbon. The lovely city, the good food and most of all the nature we found close to the city. This is somewhere west from Lisbon, the colors, the waves and the small people in the corner make this photo a good memory to this week.

I was retourning from Lisboa to Rome with a Ryanair plane. Luckily I take the seat to the window and there was this magical sunset above this waving clouds. Pure magic.

there is something so mesmerizing about Lisbon and its trams. maybe its the screech as it passes you by and turns down a new street or the smiles and awestruck faces of its passengers. whatever it is, I’m absolutely in love.

The hillsides that Lisbon is built upon offer an incredible view from various points of the narrow streets. No matter which corner you turn, you won’t be dissapointed. This is the view from the tracks of the Elevador da Bica, a cable car that was established in 1892.
