Stumble upon this sunset in the last 5 minutes of exploring Chiado in Lisbon. I was visiting for the first time and my boyfriend was showing me around his city. Having finished our cocktails we hit the beach in Albufeira, Portugal. We had taken the cocktail umbrellas that were in our drinks and stuck them in the sand. They looked like tiny beach parasols!

This is an angle that I shoot very often from when I visit places. It was the most wonderful day in the middle of Lisbon; a day spent just just to wander the city. The light on these traditional yellow-ish buildings is just wonderful. A city to visit !

Lisbon is a dichotomy. A beautiful gem of European architecture centered in a part of the city that used to be run-down and recently gentrified. The merge creates an area of chaos and peace that fuse together. It's a cool city! The stairs also kinda look like the ones in the Joker movie ;)
