I try to go to the mountains at least once a week. This time I went to Stołowe Mountains. The day was cloudy and when stumbled upon little lake in the middle of the forest it did not look very interesting. However, after few minutes when the sun came out, the situation changed dramatically. The reflection of trees in the water was beautiful, especially as the surface of the water was as smooth as a mirror. I quickly set the tripod and took a picture. I wanted to make it before the sun hid behind the clouds again. I managed to :)

I parked. I turned off the engine. I got out and realized that I was right at the entrance to the portal, which is about to take me to another world. Strong light. Shadows. Moisture. The smell of the forest. The singing of birds. I put on my backpack, closed the car. Behind the trees the sun was shining, drawing clear rays of light in humid air. I watched them change with the branches swaying in the wind. I knew that in a moment I was going to move to another world for good. For an hour, for two. For a priceless time. It’s a cat… It’s a fox… It’s Fennec! A cute little creature that you’d like to take home from the zoo. But it’s actually a predator and there were two bodies (parts of them) of two little chickens. That’s not in the frame obviously ;)
