My girlfriend and I visited for the first time an almost empty zoo on a sunny Thursday morning. We strolled through the wildlife park only to be greeted by several kakapos. What’s funny is that the zoo is within the hustle and bustle of Manila, Philippines and not many visits here. This kakapo radiates color and is known to live up to a healthy age of 95. Here, it’s eating special bird food for breakfast as it perches on the wooden branch.
