Travel guide of Nigardsbreen21 km from Nigardsbreen
We walked down from the glacier to find the valley filled with low clouds. It was extremely atmospheric and gave a sense of depth to the landscape. This little hut sat perfectly on the edge of the mountain, with some waterfalls peeking through in the distance.

Me and my brothers went on a epic road trip across norway. And this was one of the most memorable views we saw. The sun was setting on the mountains and there were some clouds that created a holy live scene.

During a trip to Norway we visited Nærøyfjord, a narrow branch of the large Sognefjord. Facing away from the fjord I looked up to see these waterfalls of the cliffs surrounding the valley. The overcast, the misty waterfalls and rugged terrain gave way to this mystic feeling of a land where vikings used to rule long ago.

Tame reindeer that you might come across while hiking Besseggen. They prefer to cool themselves on the snow fields scattered across the mountainsides.

As the Besseggen hike draws to a close, you walk along these cliffs – right around where we met the reindeer you can see in other pictures – and then you go straight down a leg breakingly steep path down to the little place you see in the end of the lake.

We were on our hike to Besseggen Ridge. This beautiful spot shows the beginning of the trail at the end of the lake. The photo reminds me of the beautiful nature of Norway.

Taken while aboard a ship during the "Norway in a Nutshell" tour. Black and white film was perfect for this moment showing the true contrast of the cliffs versus the sky. Shot on Kodak Tmax 100 with a Canon A2E in 2002.
