I took this picture outside of the Robot Restaurant in Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan. Had the privilege of going to Japan and experiencing this psychedelic show for myself back in May 2017.

Making our way back from an insane evening at the Robot Restaurant, possibly one of the wildest shows in the wildest city in the world, we found this calm outlook on the hustle and bustle ahead.

Tokyo is my all time favourite city to visit. As much as I’m biased towards my hometown London, Tokyo will always have a place in my heart. It’s truly a city that never sleeps and experience you cannot get elsewhere. This is a view from one of the observatories in the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building, a free viewing floor that gives you unparalled views of the city.

Was walking a evening in Tokyo and saw this street filled with lights which reflected on the taxi’s. I stopped and made this photo quickly with my phone (s7 edge). Didn’t expect it would come out this great, especially considered it was taken with a phone at night

Finally we made it to Tokyo. Of course we had to visit the Meiji shrine. The shrine is under construction, and it was drizzling, so the place wasn’t packed with tourists. I stood facing the gate, and waited for a moment that caught my eye. I hope that I captured a great moment, and conveyed the right mood.

During a fun bike tire around Tokyo, we had the chance to walk around the grounds of the Tokyo Imperial Palace in 2014 & there happened to be a race happening around the area that day.

This magnificent city view of Tokyo prefecture is taken from the sky lobby of Shangri-La Hotel, Tokyo on the 28th floor. Although you are not staying at the hotel, you can visit the Lobby Lounge for a drink and enjoy the Tokyo city view. You can also see Japan's tallest tower - Tokyo Skytree from a far.

Whilst in Tokyo, I visited the Buddhist Temple of Sensō-ji. This photo was capture during the busy midday rush of tourists and locals exploring the markets just outside the temple grounds. Stepping inside, the noise subsided allowing peace and quietness to fill the room. It’s a reminder of how even in one of the busiest cities in the world you can always find a moment of peace and respect.
