This is type of image which everybody wants these days. Don’t be shy, take it! :) One sentimental house in central composition. Heh.

This photo was taken at Lake Aviolo in Brescia, a city in the Northern Italy. When I took that picture it was sunset time. We came to the lake after a cold beer drunk in the shelter not far away (Rifugio Sandro Occhi all’Aviolo). Good time, good vibes.

Here we are in Brescia, in the north of Italy. It’s August 12th and we are about 2000m high. We have set up the tent for the night, we prepare to sleep a few hours and then wake up, capture some shooting stars and head towards the top (about 3100m).

This picture was taken during my latest 3 days hike in the alps. Here we’re around 3000mt near Passo Zebrú. At this high altitude it’s pretty common to find snow even in the middle of summer.

It’s freaking cold! 5:50 in the morning here in San Giovanni - Bellagio, Italy. I woke up, especially for this moment. The water is calm, the birds are singing and the mountains are leaving a trail of light from the sun. This photograph is the story I fail to put in words. This is the moment. Shoot it.

This was a satuday morning around Lecco lake, we (me and my wife) were walking around while I observed the shoudows of the trees on her back. Which for me looks so lovely, tells a lot about her conection with the nature!

In the Stelvio National Park, at the headwaters of the Rabbies Torrent which flows impetuously down through the valley, these waterfalls create bubbling white cascades which are a pleasant contrast to the green of the conifers and the dark-reddish colour of the rocks.

Abandoned bell tower of the old town of Altgraun, that has been flooded following the construction of a hydro plant. Today it is a beautiful landmark under monument protection.

This photo was taken while me and my travel partner were exploring the area of Dolomiti Pradel. The view was so wonderful and breath taking. I wanted to show on this photo the perspective of what was seeing at that moment

My problem with posing (when I do it - just like in this photo) is that I kinda get lost, looking at the horizon. What the lens did not capture (shame really because it would have made an excellent b-roll) is me rolling a cigarette and enjoying the next 15’, taking in all this beauty. Today actually, someone told me that this kind of scenery / location / weather might be depressing. I don’t take depression lightly, since I had a quick “brush” with that monster myself. Nevertheless, I like to see the diversity in experience people have when looking at my pictures. I was happy in this one btw…

It was the first time ever I tried to capture stars. Not that easy but pretty satisfied with my first shot. Picture taken at the Zwickauer Hütte in South Tyrol, 3000 a.s.l

We were in a mountain near where I live, that day was incredibly foggy, it was literally like walking in the clouds.

The mountains are calling and I must go. I’ve always enjoyed taking photographs while being the passenger in a car. It gives you freedom as well as sharpens your skill to hit that shutter button at the right moment at the right time. One second to early or one second too late and the whole frame changes. A few hundred meters up or down the road the perspective changes. Last but not least. I NEVER shoot burst mode. Feels like cheating.

This photo represents my journey that day. Somehow arrived to the train station but took me some time to leave it in the direction of the city, not because was my first time there, but because all sides I looked seemed like it was staged for me to keep photographing. Finally my friends arrived to pick me up and asked me, “why didn’t I came out? We are waiting for almost an hour.” Eventually on the way to the city, I had the feeling my journey was over.

I was invited to attend Milan Fashion week in a February of 2018. It was my first time in Milan, and I was astounded at the amount of beautiful architecture it has around the city. I wanted to capture that but also tie in fashion along with it. As we were shooting, these birds started passing all over the place! It was magical! I give my model credit for standing so still. The shot was taken at the Duomo in Milan, Italy. Photo be me @alexiroseproductions model: @marwaatik
