The little town of Castelmezzano, in south Italy, in a wonderful January 2017 night, after snowly days. That night the temperature was about -12°, but, watching the brightness of stone houses, I felt the sweetly warm sensation to have the hands in front of a burning coals brazier.

Exciting and at the same time terrifying since we didn’t knew what could happen if we get too close to jellyfish. But we went all in to take this beautiful picture. Last weekend I was traveling to Matera. I didn’t expected such beauty and history behind. In 2019 Matera will be world city of culture. During the sunset I found this cave, one of the most important thing in Matera and it has perfectly framed the city. You should visit this amazing beauty.

The best way to explore the neighbourhoods Sasso Barisano and Sasso Caveoso is on foot, roaming through the labyrinth of narrow alleyways, up and down uneven stone staircases, discovering dead ends and tiny courtyards adorned with flower pots, cave churches and expansive views of the sassi.

I took this photo before I went with my family up this same mountain over the “Path of the Gods” trail on the Amalfi Coast. I figured I would take a photo of the mountains as a reference that “The trail won’t be as ominous as it looks in this image.” Funnily enough, when we reached the trail, the sky’s cleared and it seemed like I was right.
