It’s quite obvious that I have pledged myself to landscape photography. I ‘ve seen some amazing shots. Amazing. What bothers me sometimes (mostly in my photographs) is that there is no point of reference. It’s hard to clearly see the scale of these magnificent places. Did you see those tiny human silhouettes on the bottom left? Incredible perspective. We are so small, yet we do manage to hurt nature so much. And she’s been around way before us. Just a thought.

I were out to the Braies lake, and i decided to have something to eat, so i go to the nearest place i found. On the road i spotted this moody scene.
When this lake came into view as we hiked in from the far end I thought "this is the most beautiful place I've ever seen." I still think that 20 years later. When I went, it was a hidden gem of the Alps, now loads of people have been there. But perhaps not so many have shot it with film. || shot on film, Canon A2E, 1999, scanned on Nikon CoolScan 4000.
