We had taken a trip to north of Iran, Namak Abrood. We used the cable car to go up on the hills where it was raining and there was fog every where! Luckily there was no sign of rain or fog the second time we went up there and I could take this photo on my tripod.

I don’t know why they have called it Salt Dome because there is no Dome :) There are some hills near Qom. They are made of salt. This surface is made of salt too.
