Bara Imambara, also known as Asfi Mosque is an imambara complex in Lucknow, India built by Asaf-ud-Daula, Nawab of Awadh in 1784. Bara means big. The building also includes the large Asfi mosque, the Bhul-bhulaiya (the labyrinth), and Bowli, a stepwell with running water. Two imposing gateways lead to the main hall. It is said that there are 1024 ways to reach the terrace but only two to come back first gate or the last gate. I reached the rooftop while trying to find my way around the labyrinth and that's when I clicked this photo.

First time when I visited a temple in Bithoor, located near the shores of the river Ganges,… It was early morning, we were just on time to witness this beautiful sunrise. I was fortunate that I carried a camera with me to bring a fragment of those moments back home.

The dilapidated hunting plateau of the erstwhile Chandelas still manages to feebly gaze over the Karnavati. Panna has come a long way, with three distinct forest zones : the riverbed, the woodland & the grassland. A lone screaming lapwing gives away the location of a predator nearby, as we scurry across the grassland we spot the solitary jackal. The air is dry & dull, there is a lull before the forest erupts with the frantic calls of a deer.

A muddy fur spotted with tanned spots, a silent predator stealthily tip-toes across the forest floor. There is a cloud of mystery that surrounds his movements, his nature will always be unpredictable to the visiting citizens. The Leopard was first spotted crouched beside the nala flowing downstream Judi Waterhole, as he lay in wait for a thirsty denizen. Alas, his plans were of no avail as a nearby tigress started calling out to her cubs and the leopard was left with little choice, but to bolt.
