I took this black and white shot at the very end of the Mikro beach, located at the Pilio area, across Evoia and close to Skiathos. I used an old DSLR but I really liked the end result.

Blood moons, Perseids, eclipses. I am more than happy to witness our Galaxy’s expressions in this lifetime. At the same time, I have been chasing that shot of the night sky. I know that I am a newbie when it comes to this, but I guess it’s all about timing. Visiting my home country this year I had high hopes and high goals. Last night’s attempt on the Perseids meteor shower was a feeble attempt. Tonight though, the result was otherworldly. Seeing the Milky way with a naked eye, I could only imagine what that would mean moments later in Lightroom.

After an day exploring Delfi, ancient Greece, I stopped at a cafe overlooking the gulf for a sunset snack. What a spectacular view, it is no wonder the ancients decided upon this spot for one of their great cities.

If you lookout for the most popular and important destinations of Greece, Temple of Olympian Zeus in Athens will always be on the list. The temple also is known by the name Olympieion was built centuries ago. The temple started in 174 BCE and finally completed in the 131 CE. The tall columns and strong architecture are the reason that some of them are still available for the sightseeing of travelers.
