I was on Tsia, an island in Greece, on my 9th day of travel, and I thought this picture captured the essence of summer perfectly - we try to be on the beach trying to beat the heat, relaxing, taking a break from work, having a drink.. And this beautiful afternoon in a not-so-touristy place with a few heads bobbing in the sea reflect that exact calmness which the word ‘summer’ exudes

These rocks are called "Portes". It means "Doors" in Greek. They lie in front of the harbor of paros, an island in the Aegean sea in Greece. 81 souls rest underneath those rocks.September 26, 2000. A ship called Express Samina hits the rocks and sinks 25 minutes later, taking 81 people to their wet grave. There are numerous stories of shame, intrigue, negligence, courage and self-sacrifice regarding this incident.

Sailing boats resting peacefully in a marina in the island of Naxos. The picture speaks to me and says: Boats are made to sail. Masts are made to hold sails filled with wind and push boats into riding waves. But here nothing sails. No wind. No waves. I reply to the picture: Every journey has a destination. Every destination is also a new departure. And then the picture asks me : Do you see boats that have reached their destination or boats awaiting departure?. I remain silent. When I answer that, I will know. Am I Columbus leaving Palos de la Frontera or Ulysses reaching Ithaca?

I was with some friends exploring Mykonos, a Greek island with total white architecture. One of the most visited place on the island was this beautiful lighthouse standing abandoned and alone.

In Oia, on Santorini island, everything is so neat and beautiful that you could think you are in a middle of a footage and that everything is only part of the decor.

I took at long exposure of the cave houses but no starts because of the lights. I went on a different location of Santorini where it was pitch black and took the pic of the Milky Way. I then combined the 2 images with photoshop.

It was a particularly windy day in Athens and we were strolling on Pani Hill, when the buzz of a red dragonfly caught our attention. Suddenly, we noticed we were surrounded by these exquisite creatures, all struggling to hold on to these tiny flower buds, during the gusting winds. We believe that this particular photo en-capsules the effort these small dragonflies put on, simply trying to survive another day.
