This photo was taken in the “Speicherstadt” District in Hamburg (Germany). On midday this place looks kind of boring but in the late evening, the lights go on and the place turns into a great photo spot.
I went with the family for a day trip to Burg Eltz on the last day of the castle being open for the season. We just went on that that day by pure luck I must admit. I have seen many images of the castle over the years and it is more grand in person than I expected. In this photoI I tried a Sepia tone theme to give the photo a very “old school” feel.
I took this photo on a rainy day in front of the runway of Paderborn-Lippstadt Airport. It is one of the smallest commercial airports in Germany.
This was an hour’s hike uphill to a bridge that overlooks this magnificent castle. This was what prompted my trip to Bavaria, and it was just the tip of an amazing holiday filled with great views, places, food and drink, and weather.

It was a very early morning at Eltz Castle in Germany. The night before at 11pm we decided to go on a trip to Germany for one day. Our first stop was Eltz Castle.
We’ve been on a trip for a few days and stopped at “Steinhuder Meer” for a day during summer. It was an awesome hot day at the lake and it got even better when the sun was setting.

Another shot to appreciate the beauty of Schloss Neuschwanstein in autumn. Slowly working my way through Oktoberfest footage even though I still have videos and photos from the last few months in Rome to finish. The shots are much easier to take than they are to sift through and edit.
This image was taken in 1983 using a Minolta x700 and Fuji 64 ISO slide film. After almost 40 years in storage I digitized it with my D850.
I shot and edited this picture for VANTALE a new vanlife interior brand out of Munich. They love the combination of 80’s colors and nature’s colors. A steep hike up to Mt. Herzogstand through snowy paths.
A re-edit of one of my favorites. It’s such an amazing castle, such an amazing place. To think these things were built without ‘modern technology’ back in 1869 is crazy!

This photo was taken in early spring 2018. Me, my wife, my brother and my sister-in-law went to the ammersee for taking a walk.
One of the most beautiful places I have visited in 2018, a spontaneous day trip. The cloudy sky was a plus since it made the light less hard, and I could capture everything. My biggest problem was choosing the right lens. In the end I shot with all of them - including my DJI Mavic Pro.
It was 4pm in the evening and the sun was out. I was looking for nice spots to take some new photos and i find this street
This church in Bavaria can only be reached by boat due to his location on a peninsula. Directly behind there is a great trail to go hiking in the Alps.
Me and a friend were out for exploring some great places and we found this spectacular place with this awesome view. Here you really feel like the king of the world.
This picture of Koblenz is taken on the hills (Festung Ehrenbreitstein = fort museum) on the east side of the river Rhine. The river Mossele merge on this point with the Rhine. This point is called the Deutsche Ecke (German Corner).
I was visiting Munich with my girlfriend and my parents. Since it was the first experience of my parents outside Italy, we decided to make it special with a trip to the Neuschwanstein Castle. I didn’t expect such a view during the road to the castle…
Rooftop view from cafe in Scheunenviertel. It was my second or third day in Berlin and I was absolutely starving but while I waited for breakfast I saw this shot from the corner of my eye and thought, wow, that's so cool and nothing like this is at home.
A great opportunity to see the beginning of the Alps, take a cable car ride, take a bird's-eye view of Neuschwanstein Castle @neuschwanstein.castle , have a traditional Bavarian food in a panoramic cafe, and dream ...
