One of the most beautiful places I have visited in 2018, a spontaneous day trip. The cloudy sky was a plus since it made the light less hard, and I could capture everything. My biggest problem was choosing the right lens. In the end I shot with all of them - including my DJI Mavic Pro.

I shot and edited this picture for VANTALE a new vanlife interior brand out of Munich. They love the combination of 80’s colors and nature’s colors. A steep hike up to Mt. Herzogstand through snowy paths.

Rising above the clouds is an unbelievable impression everytime again. This image was taken in the Bavarian Alps early last winter season on the first ski tour with my buddy Max after we walked through thickest fog. People were telling us the view was getting better on top, but we couldn’t believe it until we reached the summit ourselves. We were not disappointed.

When beeing on a yoga retreat in the alps, I captured this beautiful shot when everything around was very silent and the sun was close to set. I enjoy the atmosphere in this picture as it has a majestic feel to it while beeing calm and relaxed at the same time.

On a family holiday to Munich, we discovered the tourist spot of Höllenklamm, after a short walk from the carpark you pay a small fee to walk through a network of old shepherds’ caves and tunnels past a very fast flowing river.

When I was younger, I didn’t like hiking. It was to much effort and getting up early in the morning just didn’t seem to be worth it. Since I moved to Northern Germany for my studies I miss views like this. So.. somehow I love hiking now.
