Travel guide of HohenschwangauThis was an hour’s hike uphill to a bridge that overlooks this magnificent castle. This was what prompted my trip to Bavaria, and it was just the tip of an amazing holiday filled with great views, places, food and drink, and weather.

Another shot to appreciate the beauty of Schloss Neuschwanstein in autumn. Slowly working my way through Oktoberfest footage even though I still have videos and photos from the last few months in Rome to finish. The shots are much easier to take than they are to sift through and edit.

This image was taken in 1983 using a Minolta x700 and Fuji 64 ISO slide film. After almost 40 years in storage I digitized it with my D850.

A re-edit of one of my favorites. It’s such an amazing castle, such an amazing place. To think these things were built without ‘modern technology’ back in 1869 is crazy!

The blue tranquility of this lake was mesmerizing. Nothing quite like it.

A great opportunity to see the beginning of the Alps, take a cable car ride, take a bird's-eye view of Neuschwanstein Castle @neuschwanstein.castle , have a traditional Bavarian food in a panoramic cafe, and dream ... The air at an altitude of 1,730 m is perfectly clean. Fell free to add this beautiful place to inspiration search list

No wonder the castles were built here. The path way to them is nothing less than divine

I was visiting Munich with my girlfriend and my parents. Since it was the first experience of my parents outside Italy, we decided to make it special with a trip to the Neuschwanstein Castle. I didn’t expect such a view during the road to the castle…

My friend and I decided to go for a stroll while we were visiting Fussen, Germany. We came to a fork in the road that lead to either a small lake or back to town . We decided to go see this lake before the sun set and right at the edge of this lake was a biergarten. I couldn’t think of a more fantastic way to end a nice little walk through nature.

A small isle in the Eibsee at the beginning of November in 2018. Because it was a really nice and warm day some canoeists stayed at the island in the sund to relax. This is the horizontal version of a photo I already posted last year.

The weather was really nice that day and really warm which is not that common at the beginning of November in Germany. The Eibsee is one of my favorite spots in the alps and always worth a visit. If there is no wind you can get awesome reflections in the lake.

Another photo from my trip last autumn to the Eibsee. This time it is from really early in the morning when the sun was still behind the mountains, but there was absolutely no wind so I got a perfect reflection of the Zugspitze in the Eibsee. (My polarizer might have helped a tiny bit to improve it even more :))

I slept in my van and woke up under Germany’s highest peak - Mt. Zugspitze - in front of Lake Eibsee. I wanted to take some videos for Vindora.co. Early morning stuff. ;-)

Eibsee in Spring Another photo from my favorite lake. Even if the weather was not perfect to take photos they still look awesome. It was the first time I did a hike with a group of unknown people from meetup and it was really interesting to get to know so many different personalities in such a small time.

One of the last photos taken last autumn at the Eibsee that I didn’t upload anywhere yet even if it hangs on my wall in a really large format. I guess the uploaded size is the max resolution possible here because it actually is way bigger :D

Shot this one on a hike to the Schrecksee with a friend. The only lake in the Alpes with a natural island in it.

On a family holiday to Munich, we discovered the tourist spot of Höllenklamm, after a short walk from the carpark you pay a small fee to walk through a network of old shepherds’ caves and tunnels past a very fast flowing river.

Photography of a sunset and blue sky over an alpine valley which is characterized by a hilly landscape with fields, forests and a Bavarian village. A winding mountain road runs through the picture.
