The Pilsum Lighthouse (German: Pilsumer Leuchtturm) was built in 1891 in order to provide a beacon for the Emshörn channel on Germany's North Sea coast. It is located on a dyke near the village of Pilsum in the municipality of Krummhörn.

During this stormy day I headed out for some exploring in hopes of good shots. So I've managed to resist the storm and walk along the "Wümme"-River to get some.

We’ve been on a trip for a few days and stopped at “Steinhuder Meer” for a day during summer. It was an awesome hot day at the lake and it got even better when the sun was setting.

I really liked the way the diffrent birds look next to each other and how they have nice color contrast compared to the seaweed on the rocks. Proves for me that its worth to take a camera nearly everywhere. Tried to go for a more tuned down lock in post so the seagulls stay the main object in the picture
