I went with the family for a day trip to Burg Eltz on the last day of the castle being open for the season. We just went on that that day by pure luck I must admit. I have seen many images of the castle over the years and it is more grand in person than I expected. In this photoI I tried a Sepia tone theme to give the photo a very “old school” feel.

The bend in the Saar River, called "Saarschleife" in German. Over millions of years, the Saar River has cut its way through the rocks, creating a U-shaped river bend that is now the most famous sight in the Saarland region.

Not far from my home there is this beautiful small man-made lake called ‘Kalscheurer Weiher’. Birds of all sort gather there and have made this place their home. Most of my photos of swans, ducks, geese, young and adult, are made there. It is a peaceful place to watch the sunset and observe the animals dalliance.

One of the kindest people I’ve ever known. She truly has a magical soul. I am happy that our paths crossed in this world and I got to know her. One of the best days I’ve had in my life. Chatting all day long. Here she took me to a park in bad Kronberg and we went to burg kronberg afterwards. She was the one who helped me know places around Frankfurt and wandering around. You can even feel her kindness inside this photo.
