While on vacation in Troyes, we went to enjoy the nature around that city. While walking at the lake, we saw a bunch of trees growing in the middle of the lake. It was a beautiful sight, seeing this small island in the middle of the lake where some of the trees managed to grow. This island was submerged in water in the spring, and the only thing you see from above is a bunch of trees in the middle of water. Flying with a drone, you see a surreal picture from above.

We were visiting Paris as so many times before as it’s my wife’s hometown. It was a lazy Friday, a beautiful summer day in July. We didn’t have any fixed agenda for the evening. Just enjoying the beautifully warm afternoon sun light, we decided to start our little tour in the Latin Quarter. We just had parked the car next to the Jardin du Luxembourg when I stood there in the middle of the streets and spontaneously fell in love with that scenery.

So I’ve decided to go back and rediscover the city with a new eye, the visitor’s eye. And the new view I’ve got was so beautiful, and then I understood why people still love coming to Paris no matter how impatient the people living here are. And oddly enough, what makes me feel home the most, is that attitude. Paris.
