This picture was taken on my last night in Leuven before I went home for the summer. I was enjoying the sunset in the city centre when someone on a bike passed me and caught a glimpse of the sunset too. He also stopped to take a picture, but I think mine came out great with him as the subject. Thank you, random biker!

Neigem forest is a crowd favorite thanks to the beautiful purple carpet of wild hyacinths that bloom around mid-April. The varied relief provides wonderful hiking opportunities and makes a visit to this forest more than worth it.

Every year we plan a trip to outskirts of Belgium with a close group of friends. We rent a cottage in the woods, cook yummy food and hike through forests to cure our hangover. This was shot on one of our hikes.

On a cold autumn morning, cycling on my way to work, I stopped to look at the landscape. It was silent all around me. It felt like a cemetery, a field and trees so quiet, getting ready for winter in a sort of pre-hibernation mode. This was a lucky shot, one I took without thinking.
