The beautiful Austrian outdoors, in a typical summer day in Tirol. My friend F. kept saying “I’m the mother of dragons� while looking out to this incredible scenery. We thought she will spread her wings and fly.

I was going in the forest for a few video shots, nearly broke my whole foot because i slipped out of and old wrecked tree with my shoes who didn’t had any profil at all on it… Anyway i got a couple of pictures and videos, it was just about to get dark and right before that i saw this moody little spot where i climbed up, and also nearly died to get up here. Maybe the forest don’t like me at all nevermind was worth it.

My dads car was broken so he saked me if i could drive him to the workplace of course i said yes i had a freeday so nothing else to do. We stod at 6 o´clock up an i drove him to the work when i was driving back to my homeplace i saw that beautiful sunrise of course i had my camera always in my car. I did not hesitate and take this stunning picture of that sunrise.

I had found the perfect spot to fly my drone and get some cool footage. Unfortunately the Phantom won’t fly unless the battery temperature is over 15 Celsius; warming it up with the car heater didn’t work (-15 at that time). So I settled for the next (and only) best thing. Good thing I had a proper camera with me.

When my friends and I hopped in the car to spend a weekend at a friends cabin near the Zillertal in Austria I took my camera with me with the expectation of taking some snapshot-memories for the squad. As it turned out the sky was crystal clear the first night with no clouds which allowed an unbelievable look at the stars. I never felt so lucky taking my camera somewhere.

I was out working for our local newspaper. The weather was clear in the beginning but changed quickly. I turned round and saw the hut called “Zimmereben� in the region of Mayrhofen/Zillertal/Tyrol. The black and white gives that photo a touch of mystery to.

It’s starting to feel like summer. Well… Austrian summer vibes. Snow is only above 1500-2000m and you ca see some green pine trees. Yeah. Welcome to the Alps. Did I mention that I can see that from my porch or did I just ruin the magic for y’all?

It took me years to realize it, and had to go through some educating moments and situations to understand it. That’s what I am being reminded every time I take one of these nature landscape photos. There’s always something about those clouds and this mist on the mountain. The way they moves, the shape it takes… Moody.

A 2 hour drive was about to reach it’s end, and just as we enter the city I look up to the traffic light and see this. I drive back home, dump the car, grab the camera and my bike, pedal for about 6 minutes and boom. 1 shot 1 kill. I swear. Apparently I was so excited for this and I left my car door “slightly� open.

In the beautiful Zillertal, next to the Krimmler waterfalls is, a bit hidden, the very cozy and romantic Zittauer Hütte. This picture was taken on a rather cloudy day after a hike to the nearby mountains when the sky cleared up and revealed the absolutely brilliant view to the hut and the nearby lake.

Noticed these trusting Birds at our lunch break. I tried to fed them and take photos at the same time. Took me a couple of tries, but at the end I got the shot i wanted.
