Lofoten is an archipelago and a traditional district in the county of Nordland, Norway. This image was taken on the first night camping in the wild of the Lofoten and I could not have been luckier. Veinestinden offers one of the most spectacular views on the whole islands. After the clouds vanished, they gave way to beatiful golden light breaking through. A truly breathtaking moment.

Lofoten Islands
- This is one of the countless small fishing huts that are dotted along the shore of Norway’s fjords. This is the Lofotens - a staggeringly beautiful chain of islands in the arctic circle. I worked hard to make sure that the snow wasn’t overexposed and blown out. I also like the fact it isn’t red (though many of the huts are) because it adds to the bleakness of the image.
