In the surrounding cities of Asheville, NC, you’ll find a variety of farms, from apple tree fields to freely roaming livestock. I pulled the car over to capture a few of the bulls and cows, and their calves. In the far distance, stood one bull in particular (this one). I saw him from a distance, staring me down. I started to capture those near the fence, and after every few photos, I would look up. The bull closer, every time. Then, I looked up and there he was. Death staring me from 20 feet away, at most. I took his photo and slowly went on my way as to let him continue guarding his herd.

- I was visiting Asheville with my girlfriend who had gone to school there and she wanted to take me to a camping spot that her and her friends used to visit. It was a bald patch of land on a hill that had 360 degree views out over the Smokey Mountains. It had been a full moon the night before, so as we woke up, while the moon was setting behind us, the sun was rising in front of us. It was so peaceful, but also really exhilarating.
