Quba is a city and the administrative centre of the Quba District of Azerbaijan. The city lies on the north-eastern slopes of Shahdag mountain, at an altitude of 600 metres above sea level, on the right bank of the Kudyal river.

Yet another photo taken in Guba, Azerbaijan. We went to the village which was in the mountainous region of the village to get some meat for the celebration of New year. It was a hard hiking because it snowed too hard few days before.

I took this shot during my winter trip to Guba, Azerbaijan. In winter nature goes to such a deep sleep that you would think itâ€™s dead. But this lonely flower reminded me that, itâ€™s just sleeping.
