I visited Austria two weeks ago for a one week vacation. Together with my girlfriend we decided to do a hike to one of the beautiful mountain tops in Austria. This was around 3.5 hours up(top was at 2508m and we started at 1000m).
We barely made it to the top because we were untrained & unprepared but after motivating each other we finally made it to the top in 4,5 hours. I have to say that this was one of the best feelings ever. To walk in nature, seeing nobody but mother nature itself and winning that mind game you keep playing with yourself on the way to the top, priceless experience!
