Ucluelet is a district municipality on the Ucluelet Peninsula on the west coast of Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada. Ucluelet means "people of the safe harbour" in the indigenous Nuu-chah-nulth language. As of 2016, its population was 1,717, a 5.5% increase from 1,627 in 2011.
