I was taking a smaller road to save some time getting to Toledo and found these windmills entirely by mistake. The best happy accident I've ever found. Love these Quixote Trail windmills on the hills outside Consuegra, Spain. An almost perfect blue sky gave a wonderful balance to the brown, yellow of the hillside scrub. One of my favorite days ever. Shot on slide film, Canon A2E.

The Castillo de Consuegra has great views and a bird of prey exhibit. It makes for an interesting history lesson south of Madrid on the way to Cordoba.
